excel tab key

someone changed my computer setting somehow. now, my TAB key moves more than
one cell to the right and to the left. how do i switch it bact to factory
settings?
 
Go to the Tools menu, choose Options, then the Transition tab.
There, uncheck 'Transition navigation keys'.

Turn off the (Lotus 1-2-3) transition options
Tools, Options, Transaction, ...
 
oops typo where transition became transaction on the 2nd line,
anyway you got correct answer from Chip.
