Has anyone any idea where I can find a spreadsheet template for setting up a
shift roster?

Thanks - Dave

Excel is not a particularly good tool for this unless you can get someone
else to do the hard work.
I might have a file with a programming solution at home, I will post back
tonight if I still have it

You can visit www.exciter.gr and download personel programming demo.
Not exactly template but you can get some ideas. We would be happy to
create a special tool for you, if interested

If your programming skills are at par with your spelling skills I would
recommend to others to stay clear of the posted site.

BTW..........these news groups are not the proper venue for flogging your wares.

Hey Gord,

we are just a team of programmers from Greece, and we are not proud of
our English. Its not our main language. But we are proud of our
programming skills, you can download demos from our site to check. We
gave plenty of solutions to many users from this forum and others, for
free. And will continue to do it. We like to share our knowledge, and
we charge only in the case that we create a proffessional solution
that will require plenty of working hours or days. And in this case,
our price will be much lower than the prices we see on many sites of
MVPs.

So, what you do, is continue to contribute solutions within these groups,
where you can exhibit and prove your knowledge, and your expertise will
become "self evident".

Include your web site in your signature, and if you're good,
"They Will Come".

Dasco,
apologies for messing up your thread.

Gord, RD: a simple search on google proves that you both have many
years of experience on excel support. We fully respect that. We also
support excel for many years live or by telephone here in Greece, and
it is our first attempts now to support online too and present our
work on an international 'audience'. We are sorry if our response
seemed more marketing-like than intented. The demo that was suggested
to Dasco is given for free and if you look in our message you will see
that our first suggestion was 'to get some ideas' and not to pay
anything.

Keep up the good work, we intent to do it too.

Best.
