Excel quits unexpectedly

Is there a patch I can download to prevent excel from quitting unexpectedly?

What do I need to do to rectify this problem?
 
When does Excel quit and how often?

What operation are you attempting when it quits?

Are occurences random or regular?

What else are you running at the time?

Much more detail is required before we can attempt to troubleshoot.
