Excel question

I am working with a spreadsheet created by someone else. I cannot view rows
1-6 on the sheet, but they appear when I do a print preview. How do I make
these rows appear?

Maybe they are hidden. Select all cells (click on the top left corner of the
sheet),
Formats>Row>Unhide

Racefan,

It appears as if there are two things going on here.

1. File, Page Setup, Sheet ... look for "rows to repeat at top" Here,
there should be your rows 1-6.

2. Back on your main sheet, look at the row headers all the way to the left,
you should only see it starting at row 7. Click and drag up on the first row
header (the grey 7 for example), Release, and Right-click to open up the alt
menu and select "Unhide"

Hope that helps, cheers!

If the worksheet is not structurally protected, you should be able to type
1:6 into the Name Box (the empty field to the left of the Formula Bar) and
press the Enter Key... that will select rows 1 through 6... without clicking
anywhere else, just click Format/Rows/Unhide on the menu bar and that should
reveal the hidden rows 1 through 6.
