Excel Problem

When I double click on a file, it opens up Excel, but it doesn't open the
file I clicked on. I can only open up an Excel spreadsheet when I am in
Excel using File | Open.

I have already updated the registry, etc.
EXCEL.EXE /UNREGSERVER
EXCEL.EXE /REGSERVER

Any ideas?

If Ignore Other Applications is checked under Tools, Options, General,
uncheck it.
