How can you make the page numbers in the footer
automatically continue between sheets in an Excel workbook.

To make the footer continue counting from one tab to another, simply put
"Auto" in the First page number box in Page Setup.

I tried what you said (setting up the First Page Number to
Auto) and it didn't work.

I need to have my first sheet (3 pages) report page 1-2-3
and my second sheet (3 pages) report pages 4-5-6.

Not sure why it wouldn't work. What page numbers are printing out? The
only thing I can think of is that you are printing the tabs individually.
What I do is hold my CTRL key down and select the tabs I want to print.
Then I print them at the same time and the page numbers run continuous.

I'm having the same issue. I'm curious if you're running on a Mac? I am and i'm finding other things that don't convert from PC to Mac within the Microsoft suite of software.
