Excel & MS Fax problem

Howdy all...

I tried to fax a worksheet with Excel, using the basic Fax machine that
comes with XP Pro - but it will crash the Excel document (it will recover)
and Excel goes down as well, Fax machine opens but nothing is generated.

I have to output the Excel sheet to pdf then fax the pdf..thats the only way
i can get it to work.

Print area is defined, and I am able to print to any printer from the same
worksheet.

XP Pro sp2
Office 2003 STE
All current patches
2.8mg P4
1 g ram
