Excel Migration from 97

I have a self contained spreadsheet (no links or queries
to outside sources) that has numerous macros. This
spreadsheet is about 20,000 KB and has been created in
Excel 97.

When I open the spreadsheet in Excel XP, (security at
Medium), the Macros mysteriously vanish. When I open the
VBA editor, nothing is there.

Any ideas?

I can think of one scenario...
The XL2002 computer is not the same computer as the one with XL97.
The macros are stored in the Personal.xls file on the XL97 machine.

Any message from xl2002 when you open it?

Maybe the workbook is corrupted and excel is doing its best to open it--but
loses the code. (although, I've never seen this.)
