Hi, I have several excel files with vendor names and their relative
percentages. Some of the vendor names is same and some are different and they
are in a mixed order in all the files.
Is there a way whereby I can import the columns from the excel files so that
if the vendor name is present, it adds the percentages in a new column, and
if it isn't then it generates a new one under specific headings.
Thanks

Try importing what you have using the import feature in Access (Get
external data, import). Remember to choose the Excel file type from the
list at the bottom of the selector box.

Without knowing exactly how the data is stored in Excel, it is rather
difficult to offer specific instructions.
