Excel Macro for Scatter graph

I have to create 2 Scatter graph every week from 3 sheets in a work book that contains reading1 and reading 2 at different times. Can any one please help me how to write this code.

I even tried replying the recorded macro the caused excel file to stop responding and had to kill the application.

I am a java programmer but new to excel macros.
