Excel Excel Issue

Dear all,

I have a spreadsheet and when running spell checker I get an error coming up "Forumula is too long". This is in a cell that is formatted as General and doesn't have any forumlae in.

Any ideas,

I've not seen this before, but give this a go:

Copy the data from that cell into the clipboard, paste it into notepad (not wordpad), then paste it back into the cell. This should remove all formatting and strange characters that sometimes tripped Frontpage up when I used to use it, it might be worth a go for Excel?
