excel into act!

I have an excel sheet with 16,000 names, address, company names and various
other information that I am trying to down load into ACT. When I convert the
excel format into a delimited.txt file, the information tends to shift
everywhich way. This causes only some of the information to appear in the
correct fields once I do the data import into Act.

Can anyone help?
