Excel Hyperlink Problem

When I select an option from a main menu and hyperlink to
intermediate menu, the main menu closes, so that when I close th
intermediate menu, I get the grey excel screen.
Most of the other menus with Hyperlinks work ok, its just this one tha
will not

What menu item are you selecting, and can't be back to.

If you have grayed out menu items you might check

but I have no idea where to look for anything with your
description, sorry.

You open or select a submenu you don't hyperlink to a submenu.
Recommend using an online dictionary or http://www.webopaedia.com/
to look up the following words: hyperlink, shortcut,
and perhaps menu which you already know.
