Good Evening Readers,

Example: Cell C2 has the text "index" typed in it. I have hyperlinked this to the index file on my desktop. When I move my cursor over cell C2 the following address would appear in a manilla rectangular box "C:\Documents and Settings\office2\Desktop\Index.wpd"

What setting can you change within excel that would hide the file extension (address) that appears when my cursor moves over that particular cell? Is it possible to hide this?

Thank you for your time and consideration of this question. Much obliged.
