Excel formula bar

Hello,

Whenever I enter something in a cell, there is a formula bar on top where I
can see what I am entering. However, the bar disappeared on me the other
day. I go to view-toolbars and it's not there. Does anyone know how I can
bring that back? thanks!!

On the top menu (assuming Excel 2003 or lower), select...
TOOLS > OPTIONS > VIEW
In the 'Show' section, check the 'Formula Bar' check box.

In 2003 it's on the VIEW menu just below "toolbars"
