Excel formula bar date format

How do I change the date format used by the Excel formula bar? (From
mm/dd/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy). It is very annoying when entering data to have to
remember to put the month before the day.
 
Start->Control Panel->Regional Settings: set date format as required

Hi, You can try to your change Locale information. If you are using Windows
XP, go to Control Panel -> Regional and Language option and set the locale
info to English (U.K) or you define your own date format there.
