Could you be a bit more specific about this message? When do you get it?
What are you doing when it occurs? What version of Excel are you using? Have
you applied all applicable service packs? Does this occur only with one
workbook?

Chip,
I haven't used this service before and am not the most
computer literate person, but I'm reasonably ok.
Anyway....
When I first go into excel a message comes up 'cannot use
object linking and embedding - ok. At this point I press
ok and try to open an existing excel spreadsheet and the
message 'excel.exe has generated errors...etc, then excel
closes down. I am not at home to check this (I am using my
office pc at present), but I believe the problem only
exists when trying to open any existing excel spreadsheet.
