Yesterday I haf Office 2K upgraded from SR1 ro SR3 (to fix an upsizin
wizard issue in Access 2K - that worked). However when ever I open up
new or existing workbook/spreadsheet and attempt to access (put a
arrow on it, type into it, cut out of it) any cell I receive the erro
box:

EXCEL.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being generated.

I can still scroll through existing workbooks/spreadsheets (onl
looking, not touching). I cannot create new workbooks/spreadsheets. Th
first time I attempt to enter numbers of text into any cell the erro
occurs.

There's a DRWatson log attached if that is of any use

Good Day All,

I'm assuming that the problem was a corrupt Excel related registry ke
(which one I do not know). I discovered this by logging in as anothe
user (a test one created) and all worked fine. To remedy this issue
removed the registry keys for Excel under HKEY_Current_User an
reapplied Office SR-3. Of course I backed up the registry hive first
Ths only side effect was losing my default Excel settings.
:)
