Excel Encryption Key

I have been working on a password protected Excel file. I have been able to
identify the Encryption key that was used by MS Excel. But now I need to know
how to decrypt the file using the encryption key.

This file is part of a criminal investigation.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Why reinvent the wheel? Do a Google group search and you will find lots of
answers to that question in the Microsoft Excel newsgroups. You have not
stated if the file has an Open password or a Protection password. Either way
there is software (some free) out there to crack the code.

Actually I have, and there are not any answers there. That was the first
place I went. I already have the encryption key, I don't need to crack it.
And its an open password.
