Excel Date Filtering

Hi

I have the following spreadsheet and need to be able to
filter records based on date. I have used the Custom
filter option under Data, Filter, AutoFilter.

Vendor Expense Date Amount Method

SW Wholesale stock 06-Jan-94 £16,000 Draft
Mary Fuller salary 05-Jan-94 £1,000 DD
Carol Stansen salary 05-Jan-94 £1,270 DD
Jim Parsons salary 05-Jan-92 £945 DD
Karen Bush salary 05-Jan-92 £700 DD
James Gregory salary 05-Jan-92 £1,000 DD
Lisa La Flamme salary 05-Jan-91 £1,160 DD
Andy Lubert salary 05-Jan-91 £2,000 DD
AR Office bill 15-Jan-93 £5,000 Cheque
Mary Fuller salary 15-Jan-93 £1,000 DD
Carol Stansen salary 15-Jan-93 £1,270 DD
Jim Parsons salary 15-Jan-91 £945 DD
Karen Bush salary 15-Jan-91 £700 DD


I have tried using ##/##/94 to search for all records in
the year 1994 but no luck. Any help most appreciated.

Data/Filter/AutoFilter/Custom

Show rows where:
Date
is less than or equal to 12/31/94
and

is greater than or equal to 1/1/94

worked fine for me.
