I use XP. I can creatre anew spreadsheet and save it. If I just close off the
file, but do not exit the program, the file i createt is listed in the folder
and will be displayed okay. However, if I close off Excel and then reload,
the file is still listed in the folder but when I try and open it I get a
window saying the file format is not valid. The original file has also been
transfered to Word but appears in a distorted format. My Word file includes
both Word and Excel files. I have run Systems Restore and my security
programs to no avail. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO FIX???? THANKS
