Use the Insert, Object, select Excel Chart, then select either Create from
file or Create new

You'd do what Michael mentioned -- Edit|Paste Special and choose Embedded
Excel Workbook. That's probably as close as you're going to get, because
PowerPoint's graphing just doesn't have that error bar capability.
If you tell us what your goal is, we might be able to help you get there
more easily.
Thanks. Just wanted to see if I could avoid having an excel chart in the
deck, but I know that PPT can't do as much with charts as excel can.
