Excel BSOD when saving

Hi. We are having some problems with excel recently that
perhaps some of you have encountered before. It only
occurs on two workstations. Both are running WindowsXP and
OfficeXP. The file server is Netware 6. The problem occurs
when one tries to save an excel file on the network
partition (this problem does not occur when saving to the
local drive). For instance, if I create a new excel
workbook test.xls and save it with the number 5 in cell
a1, it works just fine. But if I open that same file,
change the 5 to a 6, and save it over the existing
test.xls, I immediatly get a BSOD (which stays on the
screen for about 2 milliseconds) and then windows reboots
the system. Once the system is booted back up the orginal
test.xls is gone! I have already tried the solution found
in KB article 305323, which didn't solve the problem. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Corey

Hi,

Trouble like this may also be related to antivirus
software.

Check the settings of your AV program.

Another thing to check is whether you have full access
rights to the directory in question.
