Excel and Word icon

I would like to be able to open Excel and Word while in the Outlook program.
I have the icons on the Word program toolbar, but I am not able to do the
same on the Outlook toolbar. Any ideas?

I am using outlook 2002 and trying to follow your directions, but when I
right click the tool bar button nothing happens, any ideas?
