If this computer belongs to your employer and you do not have
administrative rights, then you should ask your IS department whether
you have rights to modify the HKEY_CURRENT_USER portion of the registry.
Many programs (including MS Office apps) write persistent information
(such as Add-Ins loaded) to that portion of the registry.
