Hi all,

I have a user with Windows Vista business and office 2007 without SP1
installed. He is trying to update and change links as well as link multiple
workbooks. He is getting a "microsoft excel has stopped working" error with
the following information included:

Is there anyone that can help me with this problem? User says it is not only
him that gets this error but other users too with Windows XP pro installed.

Is this problem happens to all the excel files or just one? If excel crashes for all the files, the uesers may need to reinstall excel. But if just for one perticular xls file, the file is probably corrupted and you can try to repair it. I only have experience about a tool called Advanced Excel Repair. I have used it to repair many corrupt Excel xls files successfully. Its homepage is http://www.datanumen.com/aer/ If necessary, you can try it.
