Excel 2007 Add-in not displayed in Add-in Manager

A user has an add-in loaded on her machine that we believe could be causing
her problems. You can see the add-in in the VBE, and it's password
protected so we can't go very far. When we looked at the Add-in manager to
see if it could be disabled, it wasn't listed. The add-in name is
claexcl7b.xla if anyone has seen it, but I suspect it's home grown.

The plan at this point is to search for the file and move it out of wherever
it is and restart excel and test to see if the problems go away. What I'm
wondering is why is there an add-in loaded that we can't unload.

Thanks,
Barb Reinhardt

The Addin Manager only handles Addins that are identified in the Registry.
If an XLA file is placed for instance in the XLSTART directory it will be
opened like any other XLS file but won't show up in the Addin Manager.
