Excel 2003 WILL NOT create CORRECT NESTED SUBTOTALS.

I have been using Excel 2002 ( for 2 years) to create subtotals and nested
subtotals in my reports. Excel 2003 will not correctly create these
subtotals. It will create an initial subtotal but does not create a second
subtotal (nested subtotal) correctly. I have tried every variation I can
think of but it appears that this functionality has been altered in Excel
2003 and no longer works correctly. Others in my office have also tried to
use the subtotal function to create nested subtotals also without success.

When will this be corrected in Excel 2003?

Do you have Excel 2003, SP1? If not, you should obtain it. In searching
the archive there was mention that the latest version is now fixed, but I
can't be sure. See if you have SP1.
