Excel 2003, Unhide

How can I unhide row 1 in my workshoeet. I tried:
hilight all using the corner tab then> Format > Rows > Unhide

NOTHING happens

Edit->GoTo (ctrl+G)
enter 1:1
then Format->Rows->Unhide

Unhide everything by selecting all (click the rectangle above the 2-row
marker) > hover over the 2-row marker > rt clk Unhide

Did you scroll up after you unhid row 1?

If that didn't work, maybe you have the panes frozen.

In xl2003:
window|unfreeze panes
then scroll up.

And if you still can't see it, try setting the row height.
