Does any one know why sort is grayed out in Microsoft
Excel 2002.
The file is created in Microsoft Office XP and open in
Microsoft Office 2002.

Is there a conversion issue? if there is, is there a patch?

Is the worksheet protected?

looks like there is no solution to this problem.
So the only thing I could think of is that the file is
corrupted.
So I restored the file from yesterday's a back up and it
works fine now. The sort feature is back.

Note: if all fails - make sure you have a backup.
