We use Excel 2002 SP1 to open workbook(s). The PC is a GX270, PIV 3GHz,
1GB RAM. There is a seperate hard drive for storing Excel files.
Each workbook is anywhere between 80MB and 140MB. We are able to open 1
130MB workbook without getting an error. If we open two workbooks of
about 130MB, Excel gives an error:
--
Excel cannot complete this task with available resources. Choose less
data or close other applications.
--
These workbooks do NOT have Pivot Tables or VLookups. They DO have
formula calculations within tabs (which are individual spreadsheets) in
the same workbook.
What is the best way to get atleast two workbooks open at the same time?
