Excel 2002 Formating and Viewing Cells

The user has a spreadsheet with individual cells formatted
with black background and white text. The problem is that
now, in normal view, these cells cannot be seen. In print
preview, they show up as black with white text. This has
just occured in the last week.

Any ideas as to why the cells are no longer visible as
white text on black in normal view?

The high contrast setting may be turned on. There's
