Excel 07 Charts

I have created a chart in excel based on select y-axis dates 1/31/07,2/28/07,
ect. Excel is importing this data to my chart as 1/1/07,2/1/07, ect. I have
checked the number formatting. Everything appears to be valid. Why is Excel
rounding my actual #? HELP, I'm driving myself crazy playing with this new
software trying to figure this out...................
