Example of a crosstab report with dynamic column headings

Can someone point me to an example of a crosstab report with dynamic column
headings? Mine does not carry Months or Quarters as do the other examples
I've found. They will have an invoice number with either "-1", "-2", "-3", or
"-4" added on to it. I don't know if there will be 1 or 4 invoices for the
current month, so I need to account for that in the design of the report. I'm
using a crosstab query to create the data. And that's all working fine. I
just don't know how to show the ever changing column names. I assume they
will be unbound fields, but I'm not sure how that will work. ... help?
