Is there any way to make My Comp/Explorer display exact
file sizes?

Hover the mouse over the file or up the top of Explorer, View >

file sizes?

Right-click on the file, select Properties.

Size: The number of bytes just in the file.

Size on disk: How many bytes the file occupies in the file system used
in the partition where the file is stored. This includes the slack
space at the end of the file. Files are allocated space by clusters,
not bytes.

The Size column in Windows Explorer rounds up to the next kilobyte. A
1-byte file will show as 1KB. Look at the Properties of the file for
more specific sizing information.
