EWF with DISK overlay and NTFS

Hello all,

is it possibly to use EWF with DISK overlay on an NTFS
partition?

I made the settings (overlay type = DISK) in the Enhanced
Write Filter component in TD, but after enabling the EWF
in my image it shows RAM overlay!! So why the overlay
type changed?

Kai,

EWF protect partition not file system.
So answer is yes, you can use NTFS and EWF together.

Now I also have enabled the EWF. It was just that XPe
wants the unpartitioned space immediately in FBA.

(Till then, I had a full partitioned HD, an deleted the
d: partition after the first boot with diskmgmt. In this
case enabling the EWF failed.)

But now it works! So I do not need further help!
