EWF - commit

Hi all, I have a little question about ewf commit command.

When we run the ewf commit command, are the changes than stored in an ewf
overlay, or are the changes written to original disk image?

My question is based on this situation:
If we save settings with the commit command and then we delete the EWF
volume.
Are the changes than lost or are they still there?

Mario,

If you delete the EWF volume after the commit was initiated and the system
rebooted, the data should be there.
