Everytime Startup - Exploring C:\WINNT\System32

Joe

I am helping a local man who has WIN2000. Everytime he
starts his computer, his computer loads the system tray
with his antivirus, and whatever else, but the last thing
it loads is "Exploring C:\WINNT\System32.

Since their is no "msconfig" in Win2K, what else could be
the ptoblem. His machine runs well; but he has to "X" out
of this window "C:\WINNT\system32", before he can do
anything else.

Any clues? Please respond.

Usually a damaged or otherwise corrupt "Run" key value.
