Everything plays at half speed

Hi group

Sometimes after I put Windows 2000 into hibernation every sound and
video plays at half the normal speed and with lower frequency (sounds
really scary!)

It works with avi, wav, mp3, everything.

After I restart windows everything works again, but only until the
next time.

Is there a solution for this?

I have
windows 2000
elsa erazor 2 TNT2 Graphic card
actual NVIDEA detonator drivers (But the problem appears with older
drivers too)
Soundblaster 128 PCI

This is your sound card not recovering properly from hibernation. You'd
want to get an updated sound card driver, and then that should clear you up.

I cannot try it rigth now because the problem only appears at random,
but I will try when it happens next.
