Getting an error that says "The procedure point ReinitializeCriticalSection
could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll. This happens
after denying browser access with Zonealarm. Is nuffa.exe a virus? I
couldn't find any reference to it on the web. Any help TIA

Please submit nuffa.exe to Virus Total --
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html
The submission will then be tested against several different AV vendor's scanners.

Another way to submit is to send the suspect file to the following email address
scan<at>virustotal.com
{ replace <at> with @ } with only the word SCAN as the subject.

Please post back the EXACT results.

The .exe appears to only be 6kb and I get this:

File size can't be more than 2 Megabytes.
You can't try compressing it.
Thanks you.

Well its not indicating a virus at all !

One last try...

1) Download the following item...

Adaware SE
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

2) Disable System Restore
http://vil.nai.com/vil/SystemHelpDocs/DisableSysRestore.htm
3) Reboot your PC into Safe Mode
4) Using Adaware SE, perform a Full Scan of your platform and clean/delete
any parasites found.
5) Restart your PC and perform a "final" Full Scan of your platform using Adaware
6) Re-enable System Restore and re-apply any System Restore preferences,
(e.g. HD space to use suggested 400 ~ 600MB),
7) Reboot your PC.
8) Create a new Restore point
