Events list deleted by accident (2)

On our Sharepoint 2.0 testing system,
I accidently deleted the Events list
which in turn deleted it from the main Sharepoint page.
The main page had Announcements + Events (list/calendar),
and now the main page only has Announcements listed in that area.

How can I create, copy, or put an Events area back onto the main page ?

yeah - sorry -
had Outlook.general & Sharepoint.general listed next to each other,
and clicked on the wrong one
