Eventid 1083 has been logged on the application log and
have trying to clear the warning error but failed. i have
refer to article 296714 to solve this problem. Can
someone tell me how should I clear this warning error.

Michael,

I might install the Support Tools on all of your WIN2000 Servers and run
dcdiag /c /v on your Domain Controllers and netdiag /v on all of your
WIN2000 Servers. This would be a first, general step.

It sounds like there is something going on with your AD replication [ but I
am sure that you figured that one out already ;-) ]. Can you provide a
little more details? How many DCs do you have? Only one Site? or multiple?
How is DNS setup?

I have 6 DCS, 5 sites, 6 GC , one of the sites is having 2
DC and the rest of the 5 sites is having 1 DC per sites.
All DC are DNS server. The AD is a single domain.

I have run the LDP.exe as mentioned on article Q296714,
can not find any duplicated AD object. But the eventid
generated on 1083 is always refering to different AD
object, meaning you not see the same eventid 1083 refering
to the same object (CN=..).

"If no duplicate exists, move the object to a different
site or organizational unit. Document this for future
reference in case the object needs to be moved again at a
later date. Synchronize the configuration and domain
naming contexts" . I have not try the above because I do
not understand what the reason to move the object to
another OU and resync. The object appear on the eventid is
all different and is impossible for me always to keep
track of the users and move to another OU.

As 1 artcle did mentioned,if you start to see the same
transaction refused time and again, it, then would be
considered an issue as that *one* transaction is never
getting committed." Does this artcle means that if your
eventid even is 1083, as long as the eventid is not
showing the same AD object, we can safely ignore the 1083
warning.
