Hello, Everytime I go to Microsoft.com to read KB # 896054, I find the
following in "Event Viewer".

Event Type: Information
Event Source: ITSS
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1
Date: 7/30/2005
Time: 13:30:44
User: N/A
Computer: BEAMISH
Description:
The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( ITSS ) cannot be found. The
local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL
files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the
/AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for
details. The following information is part of the event:
mhtml:file://C:osuch.mht!http://85.255.113.4/dl/adv410/x.chm,
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink?LinkID=45834.

What is the reason when reading this article that creates an "Event"?

Thank You.
Take Care.

As for the explanation, this article may apply:
"Viewing Saved FRS, DNS and Directory Service Event Logs and Events on
Windows XP Non-Domain Domain Controllers"
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=294893

This event viewer entry doesn't harm; anyway if you want to get rid of
entries like that, try the procedure as outlined in this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=245128

Works with all of my WinXP systems regarding similar /AUXSOURCE=
entries. Create a system restore point prior to this registry tweak.
