Hi,
I often get the blue screen while working on my laptop. It has Windows XP.
The message in eventviewer under System folder is as follows:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Print
Event Category: None
Event ID: 23
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Description:
Printer Lexmark Z600 Series,0 failed to initialize because a suitable
Lexmark Z600 Series driver could not be found.

I had used a Lexmark Printer with my laptop a year back. I do not have the
printer anymore nor its CD. What should I do ?

Completely uninstall the Lexmark using:
http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm

Thank you Cari,

I've made the changes suggested -
used cleanspl.exe and also performed the last set of steps (for Lexmark
Printers). I will monitor the system for a few weeks and get back to you if
the problem recurs.
