Event Log not Updating

My DNS and FRS event log monitor is not updating at all.
It is like the event log isn't working for those two.

Try deleting the evt for those two event logs. You need to
set the event viewer service to disabled and then reboot.
Then you will be able to delete the files.
Then set the event viewer back to automatic.

Also check to see if its set to overwrite after 7 days.
Increase the size of the file.
