I've been trying to update a pc through Windows Update, and I've been having
a very difficult time. I've never seen a pc encounter so many errors before.
This will probably be the first of several posts from me. I've managed to
figure some of the problems out and get the majority of the updates for
Windows XP (Home Ed.) installed. The ones I cannot I can't figure out.
I've tried to install SP2, but encounter an error when it's installing. The
error in the event log states:

I'm also getting this error that I can't figure out if it's related to the
two errors I've listed above or not.
What I need to figure out is why this is happening and what I can do to fix
it so that SP2 gets installed correctly.
