Event Log Error - PerfNet

Hi,

I'm not very familiar with the Event Viewer...

I was looking at the Application portion of the Event Viewer, and noticed
a lot of errors related to PerfNet. Here's the details:

Event Source: PerfNet
Event Category: None
Event ID: 2004
Date: 2/26/2004
Time: 8:45:35 PM
User: N/A
Computer: XPMACHINE
Description:
Unable to open the Server service. Server performance data will not be
returned. Error code returned is in data DWORD 0.

The instructions at the above link say to do a net statistics to see if
the service is running.

If I do a net statistics at the command prompt, I get:

C:\Documents and Settings\DEFAULT>net statistics
Statistics are available for the following running services:

Server
Workstation

The command completed successfully.

So, the service is running now, but what is this about?
