Hello,
My system event log, applications section, logs an event 105 from DTSRVC
each time I start my system up. Unfortunately the event logger is unable to
decipher the code. After googling DTSRVC, I found it to be a part of the
software for my Gateway LCD Monitor. I did a file system search and found it
resides in C:\Program Files\Gateway\EzTune.
I'm currently experiencing an intermittent problem with something
changing some of my personal settings. This appears to be occurring sometime
during startup. This is also when the above event is logged {just before
Norton Security starts, so it's logs show nothing}. The auto pivot feature
for the LCD monitor is also not working.
Could DTSRVC be changing these settings? There are hits in google that
both suggest this may be the case and it may not be the case.
HELP!
Thanks,
Alan
