Hi,

I've Windows 2000 adv. server in that i'm getting
following error in event.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7003
Date: 02/11/2003
User: N/A
Computer: ADVSERVER
Description:
The Net Logon service depends on the following nonexistent
service: AdvServer

Need solution on this.

Did this start after you made a change? Did you install a service pack?

Try looking in http://eventid.net. Very useful site. I found this. Sounds
like either installing (or re-installing) an SP (or Advacned Server) could
help.

Hi Hank,

Thanx for replaying..
I tryed to reapple SP 4 but no use..
and one more thing i forgot to mention is the Net Logon
Service is not getting started, giving error..
"" Could not start the Net Logon Service on local computer.
Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has
been marked for deletion.""

Plz update..
