My computer freezes while its not doing anything in particular.
Looking at the event view I found the following errors at the time it
happened.
I have installed a new maxtor 200 gb drive and that is what Harddisk1
is....
This is a clean install of XP SP2. Could it be a hardware failure of the new
drive???
Looking on google didit help much...

Thank you will,

I have changed the cable to the one that came with my hard drive...
and I am monitoring the event viewer. Up till now I havent seen a similar
message.
Lets hope that was it...
